User experience, support and infrastructural improvements

Hi, this is a quick technical update as we work to improve our architecture over the summer months.

User experience and support improvements

  • Users are now notified when their internet connection drops off
  • Improvements to feedback form so that all support emails go to zendesk
  • Added UI to disconnected server states to better communicate when the editor is off-line
  • Fixed upgrade form so it shows up on smaller screens

Infrastructural improvements

  • Added logging for more detailed metrics
  • Improved activity and project syncing behaviour - client checks MySQL/Redis status periodically and reports the overall server health
