This is very exciting news for Fluid UI and the whole team could not be happier about the move. Dogpatch Labs will offer Fluid UI physical space and related services but the really exciting part is that Dogpatch Labs are a community of like minded entrepreneurs who share a spirit of “open source entrepreneurship,” the idea that, particularly at the very earliest of stages, we all benefit by fostering connection points between and amongst entrepreneurs and startups. Dogpatch Labs was created by Polaris Venture Partners to connect entrepreneurs and help founders conceive, launch and grow startups. Dogpatch Labs has four locations: Cambridge, MA (1 Cambridge Center, 6th Floor), Palo Alto, CA (151 Lytton Avenue), New York, NY (36 East 12th Street), Europe (CHQ Building, Custom House Quay, Dublin).
Founded in August 2010 by Dave Kearney and Ian Hannigan. Fluid Software began development of their first software product - Fluid UI - in Jan 2011. Fluid UI is a recently launched mobile and touch interface prototyping tool. An award-winning team of highly-skilled developers working happily across the web from Dublin and Berlin, on a quest to help people all over the world express their great ideas with powerful, usable and elegant tools. In doing this, Fluid UI aim to unlock the world’s creativity.
In 1996, Jon Flint, Terry McGuire, and Steve Arnold founded Polaris Venture Partners.
